The Crewkerne office began life as a satellite office of Freeman & Co, established in St Albans in 1955 by Mr Freeman Senior and continued by Alec Freeman.
Eric Carvill moved from St Albans 30 years ago to open the Crewkerne office. After a few years he successfully built a portfolio of clients supported by an enthusiastic team. That team was made up of Michelle Cleal and Stephen Moorse, who were also admitted as associates and then partners of Freeman & Co, each with 20 years of experience.
In April 2008 Freeman Baker was formed following a demerger from the group. To take the business into the next chapter of its future and after completing its first trading year, Carl Statham was admitted as a director following 11 years of service.
